Re: Illustrator changes 100% black image to 4 color seperation

Solved! I found that images from Photoshop etc... have to be rasterized once placed into Illustrator. No matter the format that they are saved in when designed in PS. After rasterizing the image (>Object>Rasterize) your CMYK values will match that of the original design. There may be exceptions for some images, or other ways to get 100K, but I couldn't find another way. If there are alternatives to rasterizing, please comment.
