My type will only go vertical and I cannot rotate it. Also, my keyboard arrows are working backwards. Help!

I've looked to see if I can reset Illustrator. Checked all my settings and I have no idea what I did to get this. The last thing I did (that I can think of) was flip a border that had a brush stroke.
