Thanks for all the input so far. I think it would be along the lines of Craiglist, however styled much nicer. No money is transfered between buyer and seller, a fee is simply paid to issue the advert. So the only monetary transactions would be between the seller and the site owner.
The basic features would be:
- Members have an account from which they can supply and update their contact details
- Search function for categories. Postcode search. Price search etc
- Members can create new listings with images, description, price, location. (needs approval from site owner before it's Live).
- Members can have a watchlist
- Users can email seller through their listing
- Users can write review.
- Based on search key words, a 'Related Items' results bar down the bottom of the listing would display related items.
This is the core basic stuff. From this it can be built upon.
