Re: Wishing to create a picture slideshow and have uploaded the required photos. However when I press 'play' it automatically goes REALLY blurry? Can someone please help?!

Rachel

Thanks for the reply.

The following information would be needed to put together a good troubleshooting strategy.

1. The information on your project settings is excellent. Your information from Edit Menu/Project Settings/General points to the project preset

PAL

DV

Standard 48 kHz

2. Next we need pixel dimensions of the photos involved. An easy way to get that information might be to import a sample photo into Premiere Elements 10 Timeline workspace.  When the photo is in the project media, right click the file, and select Properties. What does the Properties show for the Image Size. Are these all jpeg or is the photo format something else, like psd or tiff?

3. When you bring your photos to the Timeline for the first time, they will have a red line over their content. Before you begin the playback of the Timeline content in the Edit area monitor are you rendering the Timeline content to get the best possible preview as shown in the Edit area monitor. To do the Timeline rendering, just press the Enter key of the computer keyboard and wait for the process to complete. When the process is complete, the red line over the Timeline content will turn green. You should then be viewing the best possible preview.

We will be looking forward to the details mentioned above. Also, try to determine if your computer is using Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit or something else.

Thanks. Just ask if you need clarification on anything I write.
