I do understand how it works.

Every effect now is able to have a circular or squared mask with tracking options.

Once the mask is in the place I want it (say a face) and I need that mask to track the face throughout  the clip, I click on the “track selected mask” either forward or backwards it just doesn’t do it.

The dialog box of “tracking” appears and the there is no Progress, no yellow bar progressing. Nothing
