Thanks for your reply but I have no idea what "opm.db file" is and have no idea how to find it.That's all high tech for me sorry.

I believe that installing Ps cc has caused this conflict. Lightrom 5 has been working faultlessly for months. So my assumption is that Ps cc is causing the conflict.

My solution to this pain is NOT to purchase cc when the trial expires. So i will stay with my old CS4.
