Re: Updates won't install AGAIN for multiple programs - sort it out Adobe!

Sorry, but I've followed the above as much as I can and it still won't install. The issue is with the C:\Windows\Fonts\SourceCodePro-Semibold.ttf file and the Fonts folder doesn't allow any of the following steps from the KB solution:

  1. In the Security tab, make sure that Administrators And System is listed and permissions for security are set to Full Control. If not, do the following:
         a. Click Edit.
         b. If the User Account Control (UAC) elevation prompt appears, then follow the instructions to accept it.
         c. Change the settings as necessary.

  2.

Click Advanced, and in the Owner tab click Edit. Accept the UAC elevation prompt if it appears.

  3.

In the Change Owners Section, click Administrators and select Replace Owner On Subcontainers and Objects. Then click Apply.

  4.

In the Permissions tab, click Edit. Accept the UAC elevation prompt if it appears.

  5.

Select Replace Permission Entries On All Child Objects With Entries Shown Here That Apply To Child Objects.

  6.

Click OK and Yes until you've closed the Installers Properties dialog box.

This is EXACTLY what happened with the last update and in the end I had to let someone remotely take over my PC and spend about 30 mins trying to fix it.

I guess I'll have to waste another hour to support on this - why are Adobe no longer able to make software that installs PROPERLY?!
