Thank you for your response. It was my first attept at getting help online so I was not sure I would get an answer let alone a professional one.
I am using Windows XP and Adobe Premiere Elements 8. I have made a lot of movies but had no success for the last 18 months, but was too busy to chase it up. I wondered whether I deleted some files when I "cleaned" up files, so reinstalled Adobe Premiere Elements 8, but the problem remained.
Following your instructions, and having pressed "get media" and uploaded it, it then will not drag into the Sceneline. I noticed that the uploaded media does not show an image, but the red and green arrows chasing each other's tail. I seem to rememebr images in the past, so maybe the files are not uploading correctly.
This is consistent with "Where is the file" as it appearas whatever is uploaded is not recognised.
The files i have tried to upload are JPG, MP4 and avi. This morning, only the red/green arrow JPG and MP$ files upload. The film I have already made some time back, the avi file, would not upload.
Thank you for offering to help. Am dying to make my movies of my travels last year now I have time to do it!
