I have a retail DVD of Photoshop Elements v11. The version on the DVD is not current and I need to download the latest version from Adobe Dotcom.
I try to download from the page at:
http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/photoshop-elements-10-11-downloads.html
However, the DMG file that eventually downloads to my computer is damaged each time.
Ist attempt via Safari resulted in a DMG as follows:
Name : | PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.dmg
Type : | Unattached Disk Image |
Disk Name : | PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.dmg
Disk Write Status : | Not mounted, Read-only
Disk Image Path : | /Users/mac1/Downloads/PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.dmg
Disk Image Size : | 1.4 GB (1,402,388,720 Bytes) |
The second attempt via Firefox resulted in a DMG as follows:
Name : | PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ(1).dmg
Type : | Unattached Disk Image |
Disk Name : | PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ(1).dmg
Disk Write Status : | Not mounted, Read-only
Disk Image Path : | /Users/mac1/Downloads/PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ(1).dmg
Disk Image Size : | 1.2 GB (1,197,955,128 Bytes) |
Note the differing Image sizes. I have no idea what the correct size of the image in bytes is, but clearly both were not finished properly and attempting to mount either gives a "image not recognized" error.
I then tried to download the image from the URL via two different 3rd party download managers, but each failed to authorize (some Adobe authorization failure).
Please advise how I can get a proper image downloaded from the Adobe Dotcom.
