Ann,
I just shut down and restarted the computer, and then re-logged into Adobe.
When I started the CC manager, it confirmed that Premiere CC 2014 and the other software I installed earlier today is now no longer installed on my computer.
With all Apps shown, it shows Premiere Pro CC 2014 available for installation. But it still does not show the regular Premiere Pro under All Apps.
And when I set the screen to show "Previous Version," only the same 2 applications as I showed in my previous messages were the only ones there. No Premiere Pro is there as it is on your computer. See latest screenprint below.
I also tried the alternate method of downloading the Premier Pro trial that was in the message sent by Mark Mapes of August 8th, at 10:22 above. With that, I was able to download two files to my computer.
One was 1.15 GB long, the other about one megabyte long. But neither ended in .exe, so there was no way to launch the installer.
At this point, I think it is fair that someone in my position might conclude that Adobe doesn't do a very good job of making it easy for a potential customer to get a trial version of the software (which really should be pretty easy). Given the hardware conflict I spoke of earlier with other software, I think running a trial with Premiere is pretty important.
I wish I had other ideas, but so far, I don't.
